A supportive school inRifle, Colorado is seeking a dedicated Skilled Social Worker to join their student services team for the spring 2025 semester. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who thrives on helping K12 students navigate social, emotional, and behavioral challenges while supporting staff and families through effective communication and care coordination.
What Youll Do:

Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students with social-emotional and behavioral needs

Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement intervention plans

Support crisis intervention, attendance improvement, and community resource referrals

Participate in IEP meetings and help ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
-
Maintain accurate documentation and case management records
Qualifications:

Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services License with a School Social Worker endorsement (required)

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)

Prior school-based or youth-focused experience preferred

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
